Art Print

i) General

What is an art print?

An art print is a printed reproduction of an original work of art.

Q What is the paper used?

The robust heavyweight paper (310gsm) used has a strong mottled texture, giving the artwork a handmade crafted feel. It creates strong colours and deep blacks that feel rich and high in contrast and the edges have high resistance to fraying.

What is the print method used?

Giclée. A Giclée print is a high quality archival inkjet print that has a 80 years life span. The word Giclée (pronounced ‘Jee-Klay’ with a soft J), comes from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray".

Q Is it sustainable?

The printing service used is completely carbon neutral. This means they offset all carbon emissions that their business is responsible for. This is very important to me when it comes to putting out any products.

How will my order be packaged?

A Flat, in envelopes.

Is the packaging recyclable?

A Yes.

ii) Refund 

How long do I have to return my order?

A Any order you wish to return (which meets our returns policy) must be received by us within 30 days from the date of receipt.

I want to return my order, but it has been more than 30 days since I received it. Can I still return it?

A Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns that are outside the returns time. Please ensure that your order is returned within 14 days of receiving your items to be eligible for a return or refund.

How do I get my item back to you?

You can return items to us within 14 days for refund or exchange – simply email johnhuiartdesign@gmail.com, we'll be able to process your request. Please note that the returned item(s) should be returned in a resalable state: unopened and unused with the original presentation envelope, with protective packaging. Returned items are sent at your own expense and you must obtain proof of postage. Items are returned at the customers own risk and we cannot accept liability for any returns damaged or lost in transit. When your return is received, it will be inspected in line with our returns policy, and if accepted your refund will be credited to the original payment method (excluding the initial delivery cost).

Can I exchange an item I no longer want for another?

A Unfortunately we currently don’t offer exchanges. 

How long does it take to process a return?

A Please allow up to 28 days from the day we receive the returned goods for your refund to be processed.

Do you refund postage costs?

A If you are returning an order that is not damaged or faulty, we only refund the value of the item and not any related postage costs.

My order has arrived damaged, who do I contact?

A We do apologise if your package has arrived damaged. we try to pack all orders as well as possible but occasionally some products can get damaged during delivery. We must be notified of damaged goods within 3 days of receiving your order. Please email us at johnhuiartdesign@gmail.com with your order number and clear images of the damaged item and outer packaging before we can advise on how to resolve the issue.

Payment

Can I add an item to my order and make an extra payment?

A Once an order has been placed, we are not able to add any additional items. We can only remove items or change the delivery address up to a certain point in the packing process.
